Politics, Relativity, and Psychotherapy
In a world overwhelmed by information and speed, people seek quick fixes and summaries, but overlook the complexity of inner processes. Psychotherapy, however, requires time and depth. Psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy focus on the profound understanding of the individual and on lasting change. To help effectively, the therapist must know the patient well and adapt to their needs. While there are short-term therapies, deep changes occur only through a continuous process. In an age of speed, we need time to understand and transform what defines us, looking at psychotherapy and society as closely linked, since these inner processes are also reflected in social dynamics, influencing both individuals and communities.
